Shotcrete Nozzleman & Concrete Laborers

We are hiring Concrete Laborers & Shotcrete Nozzleman to help with foundation repair, shotcrete application, and skatepark maintenance. We specialize in foundation repair throughout Vermont. We offer a rewarding team experience, leadership opportunities, and a 4 day work week. On the job training to gain skills and increase earnings. Growth opportunities to become Lead Foreman (with annual salary) for the right candidate.  Tools and PPE provided.

We offer: $20 – $38/hr DOE – Benefits – Housing & Company Truck Available to the right candidate – Summer vacation time – 2 weeks paid Bonus after working whole season May – October – Retirement Funding after 3 years on crew – Opportunities for Growth & Bonuses

Typical Tasks:

  • Help load materials on the truck
  • Digging ditches, moving dirt, light demolition when necessary
  • Operating tools and equipment (jack hammer, skidsteer, mini excavator, etc)
  • Tying rebar, installing metal grid work
  • Installing lumber framing, Light Carpentry
  • Pressure washing, installing plastic sheeting with staple gun
  • Moving a concrete filled hose in close communication with Nozzleman’s needs
  • Operating concrete pump in close communication with Nozzleman’s needs
  • Cleaning up tools, equipment & jobsite; keeping jobsite tidy
  • Help unload materials at end of day
  • Always monitoring job site safety and operating safely

Occasional Tasks may include:

  • Pressure wash, Spray, Caulk and Paint Skatepark seams and features
  • Light carpentry and house painting

Successful Candidates will have the following Skills:

  • Able to make informed decisions on the fly
  • Able to communicate questions in a timely manner
  • Hustle often and when needed
  • Willingness to get dirty
  • Able to lift 50-75 lbs +
  • Look around and prioritize order of operations, next task to do
  • Support others on the job site by shifting task and focus as needed
  • Reliable transportation to Hardwick VT

Schedule:

Typically 3-4 days a week, 8-10 hour days, Monday – Thursday, flexible, through October. Starts April 29, 2024
