Massive rains hit VT; leaky basements have got to go.

We extended our deepest condolences to all the Vermont communities and families who’ve been impacted by this massive July 2023 rainstorm. Here in Hardwick, VT all major roads in and out of town are washed away or closed. Everyone is affected by the intense rain or floods. Skateparks & Foundations coming up! Parker Construction has an almost full line-up for 2023. We are looking forward to working with the Town of Ludlow Recreation Department to upgrade their Dorsey Park Skatepark into a world-class concrete skate park. Habitat for Humanity foundation fix

Central Vermont Habitat for Humanity is restoring this circa 1915 home in Barre City- and it needed a reinforced foundation. Parker Construction sprayed shotcrete where the rubble foundation was compromised. Reinforced with rebar and steel mesh, the new monolithic foundation will keep the house on solid footing. Plastic temporarily covers the siding to protect the house from overspray. Shotcrete is stronger than poured concrete, and can be applied directly to the area that needs it most. In 2017, Parker Construction completed 2 major foundation repairs in Central Vermont, and a 16,000 square foot custom concrete skatepark in West Lebanon, New Hampshire. Historic 1815 foundation restored in Downtown Stowe

Parker Construction repaired the foundation on an 1815 building on Main Street in Downtown Stowe. The building is being restored and renovated for commercial space, and had a crumbling stone foundation. Parker Construction jacked up the entire building, removed rotten sills, reinforced the stone foundation, installed new support posts and beams, and poured a new concrete slab to finish the basement.
